I graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2001, and have close to 25 years of experience helping clients with the challenging, often frightening task of achieving their potential. When people come into my office, they are usually stuck. Stuck in destructive, out of control behaviors. Stuck in ways of coping with past traumas that are not allowing them to move forward. Their distress at being stuck is palpable, as is their motivation to move forward with their lives. It is this motivation I begin with, the strength it takes to honestly face what isn't working. Together, we can transform being stuck into flying free.
Sex addiction can be scary, overtaking your life and the life of your family. I use Dr. Carnes' breakthrough treatment protocol with both addicts and their partners, in individual and group modalities. For trauma, I am trained in EMDR and IFS, using them along with narrative techniques.
I've recently introduced KAP (Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy) into my practice, a cutting edge treatment for trauma and depression.
I am fluent in both Hebrew and Yiddish, as well as culturally fluent with the Orthodox and Chasidic Jewish communities.
